Food Contact Materials PT Scheme (CONTACT)

CONTACT, the Proficiency Testing Scheme for Packaging and Food Contact Materials enables laboratories performing the analysis of packaging and food contact materials to monitor their performance and compare it with that of their peers. This PT also aims to provide information to participants on technical issues and methodologies relating to this type of testing.

Confirmation and Identification scheme (CONF-IDENT) is specifically designed to meet the needs of laboratories performing confirmation and/or identification of strains isolated from a sample using various techniques, from traditional biochemical/serological tests to more advanced genomic or molecular techniques (such as MALDI-TOF).
